QuickBooks Online isn’t always the most user friendly or intuitive thing to use. Plenty of people who’ve used the desktop version especially will find themselves struggling to use the online version.
QuickBooks Desktop, a classic, tried and true option. But maybe not a long term solution.

QuickBooks Desktop isn't available to new subscribers in the United States. The deadline to purchase a new subscription was September 30, 2024.
Existing subscribers of these products can continue to renew their subscriptions after September 30, 2024*. This only impacts new subscription purchases. Intuit will continue to provide security updates, product updates, and support for existing subscribers. But as the world moves more and more to cloud software it is possible in the future these desktop products will become obsolete.
